Can I publish an ebook, audiobook, and print edition together?
Yes. One project can include all three formats, with separate production files and approvals for each. Your team will confirm which distribution routes are suitable for your book.
Do I keep the rights to my book?
You retain your publishing rights. Census Books provides production and distribution support as described in your agreed service package. You must have the rights to the manuscript, images, and any narration voice you use.
Will an AI audiobook be accepted everywhere?
Acceptance varies by retailer. Spotify accepts disclosed digital narration. Audible/ACX requires human narration unless AI use is specifically authorised. Our team confirms an eligible route before submission.
How does AI narration work?
Choose a voice and review a short sample before committing to production. Voice generation uses a connected paid narration service. Full production includes chapter preparation, pronunciation checks, quality review, and your final approval.
Can I sell my ebook on my own website too?
Usually, if your distribution agreements allow it. Amazon KDP Select requires ebook exclusivity during its enrolment period, so we record that choice before arranging other ebook sales.
Can I start before I am ready to pay?
Yes. Create a book project, add your details, and upload your manuscript. Your team will confirm the package and any additional production costs before requesting payment.
